We have been working toward sending you this letter regarding our Sydney RV experience since taking delivery of our Winnebago Alpine 2405 at the end of March this year, however the transition from living in a house to a motor home has been very hectic. We also wanted to include some feedback on our new lifestyle... so here we go.

It's been a year since our first contact and experience with Sydney RV commenced when we simply made a phone call inquiring about a motor home advertised on the internet. Only a couple of hours later on a cold, windy and rainy winter's night Phil Rorke blew us away when he pulled up in our street (100 km away from Narrabeen) to show us the RV. At that time we had just made the decision to sell our house and buy a motor home, but it was far too early for us to make the purchase.

Phil's initial demonstration of commitment to service, friendliness, and hospitality proved consistent with the Company philosophy when we first visited the Narrabeen yard with every staff member, whether it was other sales people, Jeremy, Caroline or the yard staff at Sydney RV showing a real people attitude. This, in our experience was second to none, and it didn't appear to matter whether we were visiting the sales department or service - and even when we had made no commitment to buy.

The approach from Sydney RV staff, and particularly Phil Rorke was to build a strong relationship and have a clear understanding of our situation and our needs. This understanding and patience was very reassuring to us and over the forthcoming months such that when "decision time" arrived we had no hesitation in giving our business to Sydney RV.

When the time came we just had to be patient until Phil could find our perfect home. Talk about timing! Our bricks and mortar were sold and Phil found our dream machine that same week! Not only did we get the motor home that we wanted but when we took delivery of the Alpine, we also found the Suzuki to tow behind. What a package!

Our experience of the Mona Vale service staff continued to be outstanding as there has never been a question of completing our warranty and service needs. This service extends to your ability to get a wide range of small and major jobs done quickly, and always taking into account where we lived and what we planned to do while we were waiting for the vehicle. One of the biggest complaints we received of other dealers was the after sales service. Sydney RV clearly stands out from the rest with their amazing attention to service before and after sales.

After having lived in our motor home for the past two months (as we wrapped up our Central Coast commitments) we are pleased to say that we now have "hit the road" on our "around Australia Adventure" and love everything about our Winnebago and the life. As we write we are in Eden on the cold South Coast of NSW, awaiting the birth of our new Grandchild. Even though the weather is freezing outside, we are very warm, cosy and comfortable inside our Winnebago.

Finally we wish to express our thanks and gratitude to Phil, Jeremy, Caroline, Daniel and Michael and all the other team members from Sydney RV for making our purchasing experience, and the major transition such a pleasure. We will always rank Sydney RV at the top of the dealership list and we will continue to pass on referrals as we travel.

My husband and I worked for 35 years putting money into superannuation and planning our dream retirement a motorhome trip around Australia. Three years ago at 61 he suddenly died of a heart attack and I was devastated. For two of those years I sat around looking at 4 walls and imagining that "this was it"!
